Okay people, I need some help on this one... Im trying to plan an event to have a fundraiser for my West Atlantic City house. For those of you who dont know already, we lost our house in hurricane (or superstrom whatever you want to call it) Sandy. The house itself is gone, so its an open lot and i wanted to see about having some kind of block party to help raise money, since we need about $100,000 more to rebuild. So heres where i need help: *Any ideas of having the actual event itself (someone who maybe has planned something like this before or big parties in general) because i have the form from the township to request a special event, and im clueless to most of the mandatory requirements and details. *People who could donate anything, and i mean anything. From actual money, to outside party tents, to food, to live music, to drinks, im open to all and any suggestions. *People who are in different professions like roofing, plumbing, electrical work, or anything else that would be willing to do cheap/ donate their time and services to working on the house itself when building (hopefully) can get started. Even if youre just willing to try and lend a inexperienced hand, anything could help. to everyone who actually took the time to read this, my mom and I sincerely appreciate the time/ any feedback you may have. I tagged a few friends and family to hopefully get me a starting point, so! lets hear what you got!
