Okay, time for an important announcement. Good news or bad news? Ill start with the bad news. In the near future, I will be going on an indefinite hiatus. At least when it comes to album reviewing... Its becoming a limited medium of talking about music, and Im sick of behaving so formally in every video. Id rather be relaxed while filming, and this format is not allowing me to do that now. Maybe in the future Ill return to it, but as of right now, dont expect reviews of new albums for at least a few months. If I do film more reviews, the format/structure will be altered significantly. Itll be more chill, as if you (the viewer) were in the room with me. Another reason is that I dont think album reviewing is for me anymore. Im a very different person to who I was about 6 months ago, or even earlier. Ive changed my interest, the cultures I surround myself and I think its time to move on from said format. However, I may continue with some Collection Updates in the future because they are far easier to film and Im always way more relaxed in that environment. But Im not sure... There wont be too many (if any) videos from me for at least the next few months. Over the last 6 months or so, Ive been listening to less and less metal. Many of the albums that I was anticipating at the beginning the year have been swept under the carpet for me. I havent bothered to check out Z2, the new Bloodbath or plenty of other metal releases. But I havent stopped listening to music. Ive been listening to far more indie rock, indie folk, hip hop, IDM, avant-garde etc. - my favourite albums of all time list is almost unrecognizable. As I said earlier, Ive changed a lot in that respect. Now for the good news! As you know Im a musician. I love composing music. Im working on something that Im very excited about, of which I cant reveal too much. I may have told some of you if youre a personal friend of mine, but I wont give any information until Im nearly finished with it. It might not interest some of you (its far from metal) but I get the feeling some of you will enjoy it. So yeah, theres that.
