Olympus Has Fallen (2013) Rated - R 120 min – Action, Thriller 1. Film quality - .8 (Almost every piece of action captured, every tear shed, and every bullet fired, caught on camera.) 2. Acting - .9 (Nearly perfectly cast. Other than a few minor details, every single actor does what they do best.) 3. Plot - .7 (Unique in execution order but not the most unique plot although put together quite well.) 4. Emotion - .8 (You truly feel what the characters are portraying all through the film. There is a lot of intense, edge of your seat action and a handful of heartfelt moments throughout the film.) 5. Audio - .8 (The score was nearly perfect and the sfx are intense.) 6. Direction and Comprehension - .8 (It’s directed well and very easy to understand. They get straight to the point and stick with it the entire time.) 7. Visual fx - .7 (Everything an action film should have, from explosions to gunfire and all the minor things.) 8. Script - .8 (Some great memorable lines and nicely choreographed fight scenes.) 9. Length - .8 (Just about perfect for an action film. Not too long or short and gets the point across.) 10. Morals - .7 (Decent in this department since it shows patriotism and pride. A lot of bravery and fearlessness but most of what’s there is only by the main actor.) Overall rating – 7.8 It’s a pretty awesome movie overall and put together well. The plot isn’t the most unique but it has some unique qualities. This film keeps you on your toes and gets straight to the point. Excellent cast, everyone performs great. Highly recommended to any fan of good action movies.
