Omaha Game Dev Association Meeting Jan 2015 Hosted at Omaha Code School Lucas, from Killsmile Studios opened. IGDA – was discussed as an option for pushing the OGDA into the next stage and help grow the group. Meeting types we discussed Workshops show and tell info sessions Meeting Space possibilities that were discussed – Omaha Code School UNO Types of subjects to be at the meeting marketing business being funded sound efects Unity game maker programming specific etc Leadership direction was also discussed. After a round of introductions of all in attendance Jason Webb, a first time member, showed us a circuit control panel he is working on. It is using an arduino board. We had a couple of demo games from Eli. One was utilizing an engine with a car and truck. You could control the car, and the truck was supposed to follow you. The second game was a shooter stealth looking game with a procedural generated rooms that you could take over and control. The final demo of the night was Pavlovs Game. Or something along those lines. Its a jumping adventure game. Special thanks to Omaha Code School for letting us meet at your facility. Next months meeting is 2/24
