On 1/20/2014 at approximately 3:44 a.m., Officers were investigating an occupied suspicious vehicle fronting #126 Middletown Avenue. During this encounter, several parties were located in and near the business. While trying to investigate further, 20 year old John Liquori III of North Haven became physically combative and was placed under arrest. At this time 19 year old Timothy Priebe of North Haven began to interfere with this arrest and he was also taken into custody. Liquori was charged with Assault on a Police Officer and Interfering with a Police Officer. Priebe was charged with Interfering with a Police Officer and Carrying a Dangerous Weapon. Both are to appear in Meriden Superior Court.
