On 1st August 2014, the Student Council of IBS Business School Mumbai organized PARICHAY 2014 –welcome celebration for the Class of 2016 by the class of 2015. Over 600 students attended and the occasion was graced by Prof. Y.K. Bhushan (Senior Advisor & Campus Head), Prof. Hemant Purandare (Dean - Institutional Building & Academics),Dr. Meenaxi Dhariwal (Dean Academics), Dr. Pritee Saxena (Dean-Placements), and Prof. Ajit Patil. The event began with the welcome address of Prof. Y.K. Bhushan. He shared with the new batch regarding the formation and the working of the Apex Body - Student Council with. the various student clubs for the holistic development of the students. He also appealed to the students to use this opportunity to implement the theories learnt in the classes in practice by participating in various events; planning, budget approvals and organizing the events. The highlight of the program was the Mr. & Ms. Fresher Competition - After 4 rounds we had the winners - Mr Ullen of section E and Ms Prajakta of section G –who were awarded by Prof. Y K Bhushan along with Dr. Pritee Saxena. The gathering was enthralled with the performances of the D Fusion (Dance Club) and Sound-street (Music Club). This was followed with the DJ Party for everyone. The event was ended with dinner arrangement for all the management members and students present for the event.
