On Aug. 1 the Carlisle Community will unofficially welcome the Class of 2015 and their Families during a Restaurant Walk & Welcome Jam from 5 to 8 p.m. There will be food tasting, live music, activities for the whole family and more. Area restaurants will have a priced fixed menu and specials as part of their “First Friday” events, which run during the summer. Families are encouraged to “check in” at the Downtown Carlisle Association tent on the square for a map of downtown and the opportunity win prizes good at local restaurants and businesses. A kids alley will be held as part of the event featuring games, music and more.
