On Azads Hindu CM statement, BJP says Jammu not to be made sufferer any more Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 16: Bhartiya Janta Party(BJP) has taken strong cognizance of the statement issued by the leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad that BJPs stubborn stand on Hindu CM for Jammu and Kashmir is impeding to the formation of a popular government in state. The Ghulam Nabi Azad and his party have been shown doors after the mandate given by the people of the state and he stands nowhere in interfering in business. This was retorted by BJP organizational secretary Ashok Koul while talking to Early Times. He is still to come out of the shock of the defeat and is living in hallucinations. That is why he is speaking whatever relevant or irrelevant to the political scenario of the state. It is the people like him who ruled in Congress at the centre and always discriminated with Jammu on all issues, said Ashok Koul adding that BJP would not compromise on any matter that may harm the interests of Jammu. Koul said that the party never advocated for a Hindu CM, but will never fall short of a single promise made with the people of Jammu while making government in the state. Koul also took a dig at Azad terming him as desperate supporter of grand alliance to keep himself politically alive. Ghulam Nabi Azad has said it was BJPs stubborn stand on Hindu CM for J&K that has denied the state the popular government .He also took a dig at Prime Minister Narinder Modi saying that Modi should stop interfering in the political dimensions of Jammu and Kashmir and let the elected representatives take a call on their own to form a government. Azad also charged centre and Bhartiya Janta Party for the imposition of Governor rule in jammu and Kashmir. What Azad has to do with the government formation in Jammu and Kashmir . He and his party has been decimated here. It is PDP and Mufti Mohammad sayed who should take a call on it which they havent done so far. The mandate to form a minority government even lies with PDP, but what is with holding them is a surprising factor, said Ajay Chrungoo, Chairman Opanun Kashmir . Chrungoo said that since Azad has smelled his ouster from centre and the state as well, he must be sending desperate signals to all parties for his political rejuvenation in Jammu and Kashmir Azad also said that Congress has given unconditional support to PDP for government formation and the decision lies on it. He also said that non-BJP government in Jammu and Kashmir would be deprived of many rights from the centre which no coalition would be able to afford which has given BJP in centre an undue hold. Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers party chief Balwant Singh Mankotia, whose party could not clinch a single seat in the assembly elections too laughed off at Azads statement terming it as a desperate call. He does not stand anywhere. He should not even interfere in the process. If he thinks Narinder Modi is interfering, he should himself see what he is doing. It is only a desperate statement from him, said Mankotia. Though Mankotia refrained from commenting on Hindu CM becoming impediment on government formation, he admitted that it was BJPs electioneering slogan to install Hindu CM in its mission 44+ call for Jammu and Kashmir.
