On December 4, 2014 the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History will host, in partnership with NASA’s Orion Spacecraft Program, a ‘Trial By Fire’ video viewing party on #Orion’s flight test liftoff from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration is building a human space exploration system, including the #Orion and the Space Launch System, that will provide an entirely new capability to launch cargo and crewed missions, extend human presence beyond low-Earth Orbit, and enable new missions of exploration throughout the solar system. The Orion spacecraft is a key component of this plan, and Orion’s first mission – EFT-1 – will set NASA on the journey to accomplishing these goals. During #EFT1, Orion will travel farther than any human spaceflight vehicle has traveled in 40 years. Im glad to see America continuing to lead the way in Space Exploration! #ImOnBoard
