On Friday, February 28, 20th Century FOX will release Son of God, a film from the same award-winning producers, Roma Downey and Mark Burnett, responsible for the record-breaking miniseries The Bible. Click the link below to watch the trailer for the movie. Local viewings of Son of God will be offered at The Grand 16 in Lafayette and The Grand 10 in New Iberia on February 28. Starting times at both locations are: 12:30 p.m.; 3:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 9:30 p.m. Cardinal Wuerl of the Diocese of Washington, DC, hails this production as “an engaging and compelling presentation of the story of Jesus” and had this to say about it: “I would recommend to individuals, and particularly to families, to see this wonderful story of the Son of God in order to be inspired all over again with the story of God’s love for us.
