On July 20th, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) testified to Congress that there had been one hundred and six authorized federal, state and local government “entities” licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration to fly “unmanned aircraft systems” within US airspace. Despite this seeming rapid adoption of drone use by Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) in America, virtually no laws exist regulating what LEAs can do when they put a drone up over your home or business.
