On SFPI Radio at the top of the hour: Debate about single payer - TopicsExpress

On SFPI Radio at the top of the hour: Debate about single payer health care has been on the fringes of the larger conversation about the need for real health care reform. It is considered by most people to be a liberal idea for ideological reasons, but for economic reasons it can fairly be called conservative. Since so many people call themselves fiscally conservative and socially liberal, can we have a real debate without the ideology? We just might find that single payer fits that description. Obamacare has forced us to reopen the debate. As its flaws become ever more apparent, we must encourage Democrats who have fallen for the bait-and-switch that replaced a promise of universal health care with a bailout for the bankster-owned medical insurance industry. On Saturday March 29 at 9 AM PST/ 12 AM EST I will discuss this issue with libertarian commentatr Jake Counts, who hosts We Are Not Cattle.
