On Saturday, June 29th the Maupin community is hosting Splash for Pink, a breast cancer awareness fundraiser. Our mission is to raise money to find a cure for breast cancer and support members in our community who have been affected by breast cancer. You can contribute to the cause by rafting the Deschutes River with Sage Canyon and joining the festivities at Imperial River Company. Splash for pink will feature 13-mile raft trips, BBQ lunch, live and silent auctions, and a kid’s fun area on the lawn of Imperial River Company with live music all day. All rafting participants will receive one free Pink T-shirt and a BBQ lunch. Proceeds will be donated to the Celilo Cancer Center Funs at the Mid-Columbia Health Foundation, Sarah’s project at St. Charles Foundation, and the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute.
