On Sunday 18th January we found ourselves at Ashorne Hill Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. Ashorne Hill is a grade II listed country house set in 35 acres of glorious Warwickshire countryside. Built in 1895 on the site of a medieval manor, the house and grounds are steeped in history and have been welcoming guests for many years.(that’s the advert out of the way) We were not there for a visit of the house and grounds, not because it was a bit nippy on Sunday, but to promote our business. Ashorne was holding a Wedding Fayre organised by Say I Do. And we were displaying our range of Brooch Bouquets. The event was spread over 2 rooms, and their was a good number of business displaying their wares. From hairdressers, beauticians, wedding dresses to sweets and decorations, musicians and cakes. Ashorne Hill were promoting the venue as “The Place” for your wedding. There were a fair number of visitors, not as many as we would have liked (there never is) but enough to keep us fairly busy. We held a free prize draw which attracted quite a bit of interest, so we will be holding another draw at our next event. (every entrant received a 10% discount voucher for wallflower.co) Our stall was positioned first in run so we had two bites of the cherry so to speak, (if we didn’t catch them as they came in we made sure we got them on their way out). All in all we had a good day and are looking forward to our next event.
