On Thursday, the 18th of September, TEA held its first assembly for this academic year. We were introduced to our new School Houses, Head of Houses, our new VLE system, our new teachers and the Year 11 prefects. The names of the four School Houses are derived from traditional Kuwaiti houses: Lothan, Dixon, Ahmar and Sadu. Each house is managed by a teacher from the secondary department: Ms MacDonald (Lothan), Ms Rowberry (Dixon), Mr Stratford (Ahmar), and Mrs Tasheva (Sadu). We also got to know that TEA will be hosting the BSME Music Festival this year. In addition, the Sports Department has announced that a Fun Day will take place this October, where students can participate in Netball, Football and other activities.
