On Tuesday, April 15, the Tusculum College Math Department will host the Tennessee Mathematics Teacher’s Association’s Math Competition on the Greeneville campus. More than 200 area high school students coming on campus. Students will be on campus, primarily in the Niswonger Commons from 9-11:30 a.m. We appreciate your efforts to make these guests welcome. The annual competition is designed to stimulate interest in mathematics by encouraging more students to include mathematics in their programs of study and, thereby, to raise the level of mathematics competence in Tennessee and to honor those students who are outstanding in their knowledge of mathematics through appropriate public recognition in their schools and their communities.
