On Tuesday, I was selected as a juror. I am serving at Frank Lloyd Hall of Justice in Detroit. It has flipped my daily routine upside down. This week has been an adventure, I have learned a lot about how the court really operates on a daily basis, my case is criminal and is expected to last until Wednesday next week. I have enjoyed my lunch breaks everyday. I have explored Greektown, today I had lunch at the casino with a fellow juror who is also a retired counselor from Macomb Community College. I realized I had met her 20 or so years ago at a Community College Counselor event. What are the odds of that happening? It was a nice break from the trial! The trial is exhausting, so many details and information to process. My brain is in overdrive, its wearing me out! Lol Joseph just wants to know why I have to stay gone so long and what is a juror anyway! No court tomorrow, looking forward to the weekend!
