On Wednesday October 11th, Mr Pat McFadden (@patmcfaddenmp), the local MP for South East #Wolverhampton presented a debate at #Westminster Hall to the Under-Secretary of State for Business, Innovation & Skills Mr George Freeman. The debate was about the failure to address issues concerning better care practices and protocols for #SickleCell sufferers. Mr McFadden highlighted key issues such as the lack of training and specialist consultants within #UK hospitals, and how crucial it is for the #NHS treat sickle cell patients without suspicion and as #firstclass patients.
