On a recent post in here, a member asked how much our CDs weigh. I enjoyed reading the comments as well as seeing pics of our sweet CDs! As I was nearing the end of that post, the thought went thru my mind that some of the names of our dogs are interesting.. so my question to all the owners is; what is the story behind your dog(s) name? With mine (Jake) my husband and I take turns picking out a dog when the time comes that we need to add to our pack. Although it was NOT my turn, I had been following a story about a rescue of a pregnant CD (Strawberry Muffin), and after she gave birth, I fell in love with one of the pups..via facebook pics! I quietly applied to the rescue (ok fine! I tip toed! LOL) and was approved, and then I broke it to the hubby that I took his turn. He wasnt pleased, but he realizes the key to a happy life is a happy wife!! So, I allowed him to name the pup... and then we welcomed our very first CD into our pack! Love our Jakie-Boy!!
