On aug 16th my very dear friend was abruptly taken from us. Her and her boyfriend n a sister in law were headed bk to san diego after coming to empty her apartment n turn in the keys she came n said goodbye thur nite n i woke up fri am to see her car on the news n hear that all 3 in her car were killed when they were hit by a drunk driver who lost control of her car jumped the freeway n hit them after hitting a semi n loosing control. Monica Martinez was a special lady to many n the kids around here all loved her. I pray for her kids and family rt now n hope that they all know how much she loved them all regardless what they were going thru. I am having a dificult time with this and wish there was something i could do but all i can do is reach out to my family n friends and beg that we step up the battle against drinking n driving. No one should have to go through this. Thanks for taking time to read this and please say a prayer that there families can move forward and past this.
