On behalf of Whiteleas Juniors Football Club, and specifically the Whiteleas Rockets Under 7s Ken Temple and myself would like to thank those in the group who kindly donated raffle prizes for our fund raiser last night. We took over £300 on the night, plus a lot of money for tickets and we really pushed the raffle and felt comfortable doing so, knowing we had such great prizes that would not disappoint. We aim to have a fund raiser every quarter, the next one just before Christmas and I will make no apologies for coming asking for your kindness again because it gives these kids that we work with great opportunities which go a lot deeper than just football, it gives them a sense of belonging and social opportunities that may not be otherwise available.
