On behalf of the LPS Music committee and the school community I would like to congratulate our Wind Ensemble and Big Band on their truly outstanding performances throughout the band tour. Both the teaching staff and students at each school were in disbelief that primary students could produce such quality music. Our performances were enjoyed immensely and they certainly inspired many of the young musicians in the audience. Mums and dads, you would have been so proud of your children and I am sure you will agree that they have benefited greatly from this experience. A big thank you to Carlo Antonioli, our band director, for his amazing performances. He was not only entertaining and informative but his passion and enthusiasm for music was quite infectious with all audiences being very engaged with the music. Thank you to Vicki Flaherty and Jann Barry for their encouragement and support of our musicians over the three days-it was a great team effort. James Reid Principal
