On my walk this !, I was thinking how perspective is everything. I am so looking forward to retirement (less than 2 years!) to have the freedom to make my day MY CHOICE. Then of course there are those who long to be employed and are not having luck. Certainly everyones life and therefore perspective are vastly different, but it seems as though we are always longing for what we think is something better - straight hair if we have curly, height and slim physique if we are short and curvy... and more compelling longings than those of vanity. I guess its human nature to strive forward and lust for things big and small. In these months leading up to Thanksgiving, I want to consciously be thankful for what I have, the life I have, the love I have, our health, our place in the world RIGHT NOW, and less lustful for those things I dont have.
