On this day before Veterans Day I want to honor an amazing man and veteran Ken Christmas, my grandpa. Today we had a lovely service remembering the life he lived and the things he taught us that remain behind as his legacy. Tomorrow on Veterans Day he will be celebrating his fathers birthday in heaven standing there with him. Im thankful for his service to our country, for the 56 years he stayed faithfully married to my grandma, for these past 12 years hes taken care of her even though Alzheimers has slowly taken her away from him, Im thankful for the father and grandfather he was and Im rejoicing that I will see him again soon since we both share the same faith in our Savior Jesus Christ! Goodnight for a little while Grandpa, well see you in the morning.
