On this much-needed rest day, we took a drive did some sight-seeing. Greg has a business conference in Denver till tomorrow night or Tuesday, so while Martin drove him to Denver, the rest of us decided to check out Independence Pass. There were some breathtaking views! We looped through Aspen, Glenwood Springs Canyon, Vail, and back to Copper Mtn. The cool thing about this area, is no matter where you go, there are people riding bikes. It could be the gnarliest, steepest road and there will be cyclists on it somewhere. Its definitely a way of life here. Speaking of riding, we are back on the bikes tomorrow. Gonna ride from Leadville to the base of Columbine, where we started yesterday. Should be a good day!
