Once I found myself drifting along through life often asking some - TopicsExpress

Once I found myself drifting along through life often asking some hard questions.. For me, my most of my life has been a roller-coaster through hell and I wondered.. Why would I be born to live such a terribly painful experience, just to die? When I searched my soul in psychotherapy and found myself, I found that part of unhappiness was built on the idea that my painful life was purposeless... Some where along that journey I realized that my experiences would only mean nothing, if they only hurt me and helped no one. But if I used those to experiences to help others then that pain would have new meaning.. So now I strive to always be honest (no matter how painful it may be) and share those experiences, but more importantly, I share what I learned from them with others who are alsso struggling to find happiness... My advise on how to find yourself and happiness is to think about superiority striving... Superiority striving is a psychological theory on personality development that suggest all people are born weak and consequently struggle with perceived feelings of inferiority.. which in turn works as a driving motivation for striving for superiority or success and social interests through achieving a self made fictional life goal. This theory suggests the completion of one own fictional final goal which is constructed out of the raw materials provided by heredity and environment but created with creative power from subjective perceptions of reality brings us a sense of uniformity and self completion...The goal is usually formed in childhood or early life through some perceived feelings of inferiority, usually due to some event in which makes the child feel inferior and motivates the child to strive to overcome these feelings.. In the context of my case, a lifetime of pain making me feel inferior served to be the motivator for me to strive to prevent this pain for others and though sharing my experiences and what I learned I find peace...Now.. can you apply this theory to your life very simply.. search your life for an experience in childhood that made you feel less than in which you can form a fictional life goal that will motivate you to strive through all the pain to success... it is the only healthy way to help you cope with the pain that these experiences have brought you.
