Once again I am asking my friends for prayers. I stayed up most of the night with my mom. A home health nurse came at 7:30 p.m. and started an IV. Close to 3 a.m. mom had a horrible nightmare and jerked it out. At 4 a.m. she had another nightmare and I held her and promised her I was right there beside her. She kept begging me not to leave, saying she was afraid we would all leave her and she would be alone. She has been very confused this past week (after doing so well the past few weeks). Her labs show dehydration. Her kidney numbers are higher than they should be. I know this sounds strange, but I am praying the doctors DO find something physiological to treat. In the past her confusion has been from UTIs, bronchial infections, allergies, or anything that attacks the immune system. I know I will lose mom someday, but I am not at that point where I can let go, Please pray for my mother. Pray for healing. I cant imagine my life without my best friend forever. All she asks is for her family to be with her and let her live and die in her home. I just cant let her go yet. For all those out there who still have your moms alive and well, hold on tight and love her. Be with her. Give your all for her as she did for you.
