Once again asking for prayers.....Mom and I have been in the ER since 5:45 pm...She had a pint of blood taken on Thursday (because of her Polysythemia...blood disease that she has) and the person who did it went completely through the vein and she now has bleeding under the skin in her arm....it is swollen twice the size that it was yesterday when Jannessa brought her up here yesterday morning....and it is all black and blue. They are admitting her. Her coumadin level (blood thinner) med. was high so they had to give her a pill to bring the level down. And the doctor feels there is infection in there so he put her on a very strong antibiotic (one that you treat MRSA with) Her vitals are all good and we are waiting on blood work and cultures tocome back. Her arm was in alot of pain earlier...but the pain med. is finally starting to work.
