One of my fave Food Surprise series by far. This time ard, we didnt just show up unannounced, we pranked and shocked them :) .. , our actors demanded for recipes, asked for compensation monies after filming and reviewing (inspired by bloggers:) !) , told them stories abt bad food handling and hospitalisation etc... (we dreamt up sitns as we went along) . And when it got awkward, we opened the lid, had a good laugh and everyone was happy to let us air their surprise and shock on TV. As usual, the food was gooooood and the people were funny and in natural element. A Sg hawker closed his shutters on us when he realised the prank..This time, we visited Malaysia, Indonesia, Phillipines and Sg. I enjoy meeting people and connecting to them in their natural environment..telling stories about life, love and hates or fears, and having a great meal along the way. thats what keeps me doing these shows, which isnt all abt making tons of money everytime. The second season of Food Surprise airs tonight on TLC (Ch 427 Starhub) on prime time 9.30pm. U shd see how some situatons surprised the crew and me too. Enjoy..
