One of my worst memories happened thirteen years ago, when I was waiting my turn for an interview with professor Gonzalo at Catholic University. When he finished I approached him to take a seat, but suddenly someone inadvertently appeared and this person sat in my place. !I was really surprised¡ That morning, we were a group of candidates for postgraduate studies in Sociology career. The interview was a condition to achieve our admission. I was feeling excited. A month later, when I was a student I was walking around Campus, I saw the person, who made me a hard time. And I could recognize her as the wife of Army Commander Ollanta, who revolted in 2000 against the authoritarian regime of Fujimori. Both were students and then, he and I were classmates in the Contemporary Sociology’s course. Apparently, the rude attitude of dominance over others has been a natural tendency and now this is more evident. Currently, he is President of Peru and she is the First Lady. Lately, she had been widely critized for influencing the political decisions of the Peruvian State.
