One of our Students Working Hard to Help the Hervey Bay Animal Refuge. In this week’s local paper, the Hervey Bay Lifestyle Observer, there is a lovely article about one of our students, Maddi Michel and her personal quest to raise funds to help out the Hervey Bay Animal Refuge. Maddi is only 7 years old and is an animal lover. While she is too young to volunteer at the Animal Refuge she has set out on a mission to raise $500 to purchase a Weighing Scale for the Animal refuge to weigh animals that are brought in.
