One of our patrons brought to my attention something called The 25 - TopicsExpress

One of our patrons brought to my attention something called The 25 days of Christmas. Ive never heard of it so I googled it. There is a list of movies for you to watch every night in December. Instead of spending time watching a movie, why not plan on reading 1 book each day until Christmas. This doesnt take as much time as a movie AND it is actual involvement with parent(s) and child/children. If I understood her correctly, she intends to come to our book sale and buy childrens books for this purpose. They dont have to be Christmas books either. The point, I think, is family bonding. We happen to have 3 book sales coming up in Nov. What an opportunity to plan for your own 25 days of Christmas and help your library out at the same time. Thanks Heather Clark for the idea.
