One of the last things my dear Aunt Denise Inge ever wrote me was how my recent FB posting of these two different versions of this poem allowed her to hear how varied vocalization of the same poem so dramatically changed the meaning of the poem to her. She was amazing writer. Her 3rd and final book, A Tour of Bones: Facing Fear and Looking For Life, will be published posthumously in November. I miss her. Hope she is doing well.
