One of the successful propaganda campaigns by the administration has been on the economy. I am sure youve seen people posting a list of things the president has done right on the economy: rising stock price, lower unemployment rate, higher GDP and etc. Its often framed to agitate the Republicans or the Tea Party people who are against the president for all the wrong reasons. Its designed to keep people confused with numbers while being trapped in the two party scheme of good cop (Democrat) and bad cop (Republican): The bad cop start to beat you up, the good cop stops him and gentry handcuffs you. This article is an excellent starting point in looking into what those numbers actually mean to vast majority of us.
