One of the very few upsides to going to a visitation of someone you love is being able to see folks who touched your life years ago. Despite my struggles with this type of venue, my dear Aunt Alice really knew what she was doing making sure I would be involved in this. I was so elated to see my old roommate Andy Harrison, my dear childhood friend Beth Campbell Moore not to mention JW and Hesta Atkins and Clay whom I have not seen since he was in diapers! My cousins Tami, Mysti, Scott and their precious families and my dear Aunt Ann and my sweet Aunt Judy. My baby sister Sherie down from Chattanooga....so many of my family that I have not seen in a while! The funeral is this morning....Im almost through this...Ive been right there Aunt Alice....every step of the way so far just like you wanted. Just a few more steps left now....to carry your precious body to its final resting place...steps that will be my most difficult.
