One thing I dont get about social behaviour on Facebook is when people I dont know request my FB friendship without telling me anything about themselves or why they want to connect. The metaphor that comes to mind is being at a party, having a stranger approach, and then standing passively in front of me waiting for me to start a conversation. I care too much about my relationships to start them in a way that leaves absolutely no trace in my mind for future reference. Id be happy to be your friend, but Im not hoarding FB contacts. So if you want to connect, take a minute and tell me why. Thanks, Eivind
