One thing Ive noticed about this whole Coffee Meets Bagel -open-myself-up-to-the-possibility-of-dating-again adventure is....Men ask a LOT of questions... why is this? Every single one wants to know How my day or week or weekend is going... and once I answer, its a barrage of questions about my life and who I am... LOOK.... theres a reason I dont ask a ton of questions my friend... its NONE OF MY BUSINESS until later... and it spoils natural discovery..when two people fall into mutual like, answers just flow into mutual sharing discussion.. forcing with questions, or baiting for questions before there is a connection is a superficial way to jump start something that might not even be there. Sure, maybe 1 or 2 here and there... but conversations dont consist of men reenacting the Spanish Inquisition, (no matter how many bros tell you all a woman likes is to be asked about herself) and I dont ask, so Id like the same respect..so hey how about a productive date where were doing something constructive, or active instead of being invited to eat or drink while you gnaw at my life like a hungry dog... how about lets see of we can even hold a conversation, or enjoy each others presence/company before you drill into my life for oil... That would be nice.. Thank you
