One thing your Chemistry teacher never taught you!! Do you know that if you cook beans with hard water, it will not get soft!! Just hearing that?? I and my friends had not enjoyed sweet beans for the past five months. We thought it was the beans having problem not until one of us used water from another source (soft water) to cook yesterday!! So when next your teacher ask you for the effect of hard water...dont forget to add...IT HINDERS BEANS FROM GETTING SOFT
