One tip for finding your niche is to take a look at the books on your bookself. What topics/subjects/themes do find on your shelves? This could be a good indicator of your passion as well as a good indicator of the knowledge you have to share with a particular audience. Go ahead, take a look. Do you find you have lots of information on nutrition, parenting, cooking, photography? Now take a look at who those books are geared most towards. Are they geared toward moms, working women, families, singles? You might have to look a little deeper than you expect, but there is very likely some common threads/ideas/themes in the books on your shelves that could lead you closer to your niche.
