One very dissatisfied customer!! I organised with Angie a double photo shoot, one to be done of my daughter (5 months at the time) and the other to consist of family shots (the family shots were mainly for my mothers birthday (a gift from my siblings). Upon arrival and during the session Angie was patient and well adaptive (as my family can be difficult at times and it takes forever to get decent pictures of a little one who doesnt want to cooperate!!). I knew straight up that the agreed number of 30 photos had been exceeded so I discussed this issue with Angie I was to pay for the extra photos (of course!!). It was also discussed when the photos would be available for pick up, Angie told me the following Friday (the session happened the Saturday afternoon). I received an email via Facebook on the Wednesday stating that Angie was sick and the photos wouldnt be able to collected on the Friday. No one can help getting sick!! But what annoyed me was that someone else’s photos were edited and uploaded!! If there are others photos that needed doing before mine then fair enough but no need to make excuses. It was the discussed that I was to pick up on the following Tuesday (I live an hour south of Toowoomba and Angie lives in Gatton!) I then contacted Angie to discuss the finer details of which she told me that she was still sick and hadnt had time for editing of my photos, but yet another lot of photos were uploaded to her page. The new day for collection was the agreed for Saturday (2 weeks after the original shoot). On the Thursday 7 photos of mine were finally uploaded!! YAY!!!! Out of these 7 photos I was only happy with 2!!!!!! A couple were taken at a distance of which you could hardly tell it was us!! One of the family shots my daughters dress wasn’t on properly (small detail I know but I would rather not have a photo that isn’t perfect then one looks odd!), another my daughter and I were sitting watching the waterfall it is a great photo but the waterfall was cut out (it looks like we are looking at rocks!!!). During the conversation that followed Angie told me her computer was glitchy and she was having issues with editing photos. After finding this out I asked for all photos edited or not to be placed on a USB that I supplied. Angie replied with the fact that she doesn’t give out photos that have not been edited! I then asked if the personal photos I would be printing would include her watermark (as I wished for these photos to be placed in my home!). I was told that all photos carried the watermark. On the Friday night I emailed Angie for finer details of collection for the following day, I was told by Angie that her computer was in getting fixed could I collect on the Sunday. To take the extra stress of Angie I offered to collect Wednesday. This was agreed upon. On the Saturday night I received an email from Angie saying that whilst her computer was getting fixed ALL of my photos had been deleted!!!! I find it really inappropriate that the photos where never backed up or copied particularly as she knew that her computer was playing up before this time! Like anyone was I upset and angry that this occurred at all especially as I should have picked up the photos a week prior! Angie offered to either redo the photos or to refund only a certain amount! When I asked for a full refund as I was not happy with her work at all and because of the lack of final product I was denied. I did not wish for Angie to redo the photos as I was completely unsatisfied with the final product and the level of customer service. There were further issues with collecting the money in which Angie couldn’t make the arranged time so her boyfriend was to be there instead. The night before collection I received yet another email saying that her boyfriend had to leave earlier then the arranged time of meet. I offered to reorganize a time but I was told that they would leave the money in the mailbox as they thought I would start something at their home. I was quite offended by this!! There were no backups to the photos she had taken; there was poor communication and lack of keeping her word. I am all for supporting those who are trying to break into the industry as I was after a family photographer for all my photo requirements, but unfortunately I am still looking!! And on top of everything I have found that she has spoken about me on her personal page with some of the things she has written being completely out of context!!
