One year ago this 4th of July, I found knots under my arm. My first thought was no way I can have cancer. I had lost my dad to cancer and my sister was a cancer survival. The next week the knots had gotten smaller. In August I went to the doctor because it wasnt going away. The doctor put me on antibiotics. Between August and January I went to the dr three times. I have lymph node problems in my leg. I just assume that was what was going on, more lymph node problems. In February I started to turn red and it burn. I thought it was cellulitis. On the third year anniversary of my dads death, I was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer. Its a rare and aggressive cancer. The day I was diagnose, before I went to the doctor, I came across inflammatory breast cancer on the Internet. At first I was scare but it didnt last long. The morning after I was diagnose, there was a peace. I knew after that whatever happens im going to be ok. The last five months hasnt been easy but Ive made it. I have always known I was blessed. The last five months I have realize how blessed I am. I dont know what the future holds but I know Gods in control and Im going to be ok. Yea or nay I win.
