One year ago today, 9/25/13, I received a medical diagnosis which changed my life. The only words I heard were Im so sorry, Berni! Diagnosis: Uterine Sarcoma - A very rare and aggressive cancer. Thats when my journey began. Instead of going to Gen. conference, I would be taking a different journey for over a (long) year. The Lord clearly spoke to me and told me that this journey was His will for my life, and that He would go with me. He spoke to me, through a prophet, and said Do not fear-you will not die, but you will come out stronger for Me than ever before! You and I will walk this journey together. I am so thankful to report today that I am 100% healed. And, as He promised, I am not the same woman as I was before this journey. He has done a work in my life that is far beyond my expectations. My relationship with Him is far deeper than it was before. My trust in Him is far stronger than ever before. My desire to reach souls and tell them about His marvelous works is overwhelming. Sometimes, we dont like the journey, nor do we always understand it and the pain that goes with it, but in the end, when victory comes, it is worth it all. I have many people to thank for their prayers and support. I dont think I couldve made it without all of you. Today, my husband and I are (once again) packed and ready to go to Gen. Conf 2014! Thank you, Lord, for keeping your word to never leave me nor forsake me!
