One year doesnt even sound right, I guess it never will. A year with out him has left a void in our lives, an emptiness that doesnt seem to ease for me or some others. A year with out Kenny has made me realize that life is not fair, and that time cant heal everything. Jalen and I have faced a lot of challenges this past year, the hardest one being, having to leave our home. We had so many memories there, a life we created now in boxes. We will get through this as hard as it has been, my family and friends have made sure of this. Ive lost my soul mate and best friend, Jalen lost the person he looked up to, the person who taught him so much, the person who chose to be his Father, the person he called Dad. I know one day we will see you again, and that we will no longer have that void, and that emptiness will be erased. Until then I will continue to cherish every memory, every picture, and every dream I have of you. We love and miss you so very much Kenny.
