Only in Ga. Burger King dispute leads to assault by milkshake A dispute at the Burger King on Hwy. 29 in Athens, between an employee and a drive through window customer, led to the customer being struck in the head by a milkshake the employee threw at her, according to police. According to an Athens-Clarke police report, the woman purchasing food Saturday about 10 a.m. told police she went through the Burger King drive through and due to a dispute about the amount owed, was told to pull her vehicle forward. A few moments later, the employee who supposedly took her order came outside with the food, reports stated. According to the customer in the police report, the employee became irate about a misunderstanding of the amount owed and began cursing at her. The customer told police she then drove around the building to park, but the employee followed her and threw a milkshake through the window, striking her on the head and then splattering all over the inside of her vehicle, according to the report. The employee said what happened is the customer ignored her request for money so she walked outside of the building to bring the woman her food, but when she did, the customer tried to hit her with the vehicle, so she threw the milkshake at her, police said. No arrests were immediately made in connection with the incident.
