Opening Meeting of Regatta Oaks/Dawson Ranch Homeowners Association was called to order at 6:00 PM on February 13, 2013 at Accent Real Estate Services office at 2400 South 57th Street in Temple, Tx. Attendance President David Chrisman Vice President Weldon Aycock Treasurer Penny Parker Agent of Record Bill Jones Bill Jones discussed the hearing requested by two homeowners. He will conduct the hearing according to existing by-laws and the presentation of facts. Homeowners will have one hour each to present and discuss their request. Officers will not ask questions. Written questions should be passed to the moderator. Fines and Penalties Bill Jones explained he needed signed approval for Fines and Penalties that we approved earlier. David Chrisman will handle. Annual Meeting Procedure Bill Jones will send letters for annual May meeting. Harris Community Center and the Nazarene Church were locations considered for the May annual meeting. Title to Common Areas The covenants call for common areas to be HOA’s name. At present, some areas are still in Mr. Hightower’s name. Bill Jones will discuss with declarant. Mergers and Consolidation Regatta Oaks 1 is considering a request to merge with Regatta Oaks/Dawson Ranch HOA. Sixty-seven percent of RODRHOA will have to approve. Create a Maintenance Fund Covenants call for a maintenance fund. Bill Jones will have his employee complete a yearly budget. Email address of Homeowners Bill Jones will incorporate this request with the first letter concerning the May annual meeting. Covenants Covenants on Management company web site need to be updated. Bill Jones will handle. Solar Panel at Entrance Solar panel needs to be replaced. Entrance lights are not on all night. Bill Jones will look into the possibility of obtaining electricity. Architectural Control Form Management company form is not conducive for a storage building request. Weldon Aycock will handle. G-Mail RODRHOA g-mail should be answered by management company to eliminate delay and confusion. Password was given to Bill Jones. They will handle it in the future. Swimming Pool Discussed the possibility of RODRHOA homeowners using the Red Rock HOA swimming pool. Meeting adjourned at 7:45 PM.
