Opinion Minimum wage debate: bandaid fix to a major systemic problem. However, you cant end the minimum wage without first ending the Federal Reserve libertarian anarchists love to say well we have to let the free market decide the price of labor, and maybe if there was such thing as a free market that could possibly be true. But the fact is that there is not and has never been a free market in the government sanctioned US economy. Attacking/making fun of people that want a higher minimum wage is so far from striking at the root of the problem its almost laughable. Its like having a severe infection and you want antibiotics, and your friendly libertarian anarchist friend says hey bro, you dont need antibiotics because if you had a better immune system you wouldnt have gotten sick. Gee, thanks. Instead of helping me fix my immune system, you clown me for wanting antibiotics. Mislead patriots I tell you. That being said, fixed income, or any wage income for that matter, will almost always be outpaced by inflation rates. Fighting for worker wages used to work before factional reserve banking, now its just a slow death to the working class. Unions of workers who buy companies or parts of companies, rather than fight for wages, would be a much healthier idea in the long term.
