Orange Rolls 1/2 cup warm water 3/4 cup lukewarm milk 5 cups flour 1/2 cup shortening 1/4 cup orange juice 2 Tbsp grated orange rind 2 yeast 1/3 cup sugar 1 tsp salt 2 eggs beaten Soak yeast 5 minutes. Combine milk, sugar and salt. Stir to dissolve. Beat in shortening, eggs, juice and rind, 1 cup flour and yeast. Beat until dough leaves the sides of bowl. Add 4 cups flour. Knead until smooth and elastic. Let rise until double. Roll out as for cinnamon rolls, spread with butter, sugar and cinnamon. Roll up, cut and let rise until double. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Frost with a mixture of powdered sugar, orange juice and grated orange rind.
