Osun Pdpalliance PRINCE OLAGUNSOYE OYINLOLA DENIES JOINING APC Monday, 03 March 2014 by Tunji Omofoye, Osogbo CONTRARY to the speculation that he has defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC), former Osun State governor, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, has declared that he remains a loyal member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Oyinlola, who said his travail in the PDP was not sufficient enough to make him dump the party, however, blamed the PDP leadership for not acting fast enough to prevent the defection of some governors and notable elements to the opposition party. Speaking yesterday during a sensitisation meeting of Osun Central Senatorial District held at his country-home, Okuku in Odo-Otin Local Council Area, the former governor said his crisis with the PDP was over. Oyinlola also flayed the recent suspension order placed on him by the state working committee, describing the action as irrational, ill-conceived and illegal. According to him, the committee lacks the power to order his suspension. “It is only the national executive committee that can do so,” he said.
