Ouch.,..my heart hurts... suicide SUCKS I just told a friend that what happened with Robin Williams is a big fear of mine...of happening to HIM I made him swear he would never do it... if you are depressed...message SOMEONE... You dont have to be alone... When I used to get depressed (which I still do sometimes) I avoided everyone... No one wants a Debbie Downer in their life, id tell myself.. No one needs me to bring them down, id think to myself This is a LIE we tell ourselves... a terrible awful lie that keeps us alone! I cant tell you how many friends have told me, oh, I havent been in touch, because i havent felt well..or I didnt want to bother you, you have enough going on I could totally relate! Im going to say this to my friends... BOTHER ME! HONOR ME TRUST ME Guess what? When you reach out to someone you trust... you HONOR THEM! You TRUST THEM... you LOVE THEM... because they get a chance to love you! To at least tell you they care.. dont keep that from them.... sometimes your problems can take them away from THEIR problems! Dont be alone... Dont listen to the lie... I cant promise to fix you... but i can sit with you... be with you... for as long as you would like... I think i just learned these past few months that i have a problem with wanting to FIX everything... I have decided to let that go..the addiction to need to fix.. so... I wont try to fix you... but I can listen.. and offer my empathy... what this world needs is more empathy.. have you offered empathy to another today?
