Our BTC Family For the last 29 hours our faith hope love and emotions have been tested. Im probably the only one that has refused to mourn. Calling it a shock is an total understatement . Skoleh was young, intelligent, ambitious, sacrificial, and just loads of fun. He started a club with one of the most difficult age group without knowing how it would be run or who he would hand it over to when he left. He took a leap of faith that none of the other teachers dared and we backed him up. We all had arguments, grudges and disagreements but most of all we had beautiful memories. We planned parties without finances, and planned programs without supplies. For the first time I realize the steps of faith we all took. He unknowingly taught that anything was possible if only we worked together -each BTC member. In my term as Secretary I recorded over 180 teenagers that had just been to one club meeting and that was in one year. You would never imagine we originally started with 4.But numbers didnt scare us. Im sure theres if we knew there would so much well do much better. If only we knew. I remember one time talking to him about peoples purposes, I asked what his purpose was and he explained the picture God gave him. That he was meant to be a person that helped others fulfill Gods assignments, helped them accomplish their own purpose. I dont know why this happened but it did and we judge God faithful in the all things. So we salute you Skoleh and instead of saying goodbye we say THANK YOU. Thank you for being a real teacher. You taught us how to lead each other, how to encourage each other, how to support each other. You taught us Maths, Biology, Chemistry and even Physics. You taught us to put aside our differences, ( gender, tribe, age ) our beliefs ( denominations ) and our egos. You taught us volleyball, basketball and even football. You had real faith in us and the club. You brought teenagers together .You brought us together the BTC family and for that we will be forever grateful. Thank you Skoleh
